James Barron — Founding Director
Objectives:
The main focus for James will be to grow the Business & Equipment Finance areas. James has always had a penchant for product development and will be looking to utilize these skills in developing new and existing services for Dosh to offer the marketplace.
Experiences:
- 20 years in the finance sector
- 1994 to 2007 — Senior roles in WA (including State Manager) of ORIX Australia Corporation Ltd. His area of special interest ranges from fleet management and leasing, motor vehicle and equipment finance, cash flow financing, property finance and motor vehicle sourcing. He has acquired a wealth of experience dealing with major corporations from all sectors, including that of mining, industrial, transportation and hire industries
- 2005 to 2006 — Was recognised by his peers by being appointed Chairman WA of the Australian Finance Committee (AFC)
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Mortgage / Finance Broking (FINSIA)
- Certificate in Financial Markets (FINSIA)
- Member, Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA)
- Diploma in Accounting
- Fellow of the National Institute of Accountants
