Rocco Schirripa - Director
Objectives:
The main focus for Rocco will be to develop the mortgage broking area of the business including cultivation of strategic alliances which the management see as an integral part of the strategy for the growth of the business.
Experiences:
- 25 years in the finance and banking sector
- 2000 to 2007 - Managing Director of Treasury Services Corporation Pty Ltd, which was a highly successful mortgage broking business. The company also provided finance consulting services to small and medium businesses
- 1989 to 2000 - Group Treasurer with ORIX Australia Corporation Ltd. During this time Rocco has extensive dealings with major Australian and overseas based banks at all levels. Rocco was responsible for over $2 Billion in borrowings and was involved in the first securitisation of asset backed securities in Australia.
- Prior to 1989 - Rocco held several senior posts in merchant banks
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Applied Finance (majored in Corporate Finance)
- Degree in Economics (majored in Accounting & Economics)
- Certificate IV in Mortgage / Finance Broking (FINSIA)
- Member, Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA)
